HASHIMOTO INDUSTRY Co., Ltd. (“the Company”) recognizes the importance of personal information and promises to observe laws, ordinances and other codes related to personal information. The Company has set out and promises to observe the following in recognition of its important social responsibilities in the proper acquisition, use and management of personal information handled by the Company.

Personal information

Personal information received from a customer is any information capable of identifying the customer, including address, name, date of birth, gender, telephone number or e-mail address, or any other information unique to the customer.

Use of personal information

Personal information received from customers will be used for the following purposes.

  • Use for the purposes of everyday work
  • Use for the purposes of sending notices from the Company
  • Use for sending surveys for the purposes of marketing or service improvements
  • When a need arises to use personal information for any reason other than the above, we will use personal information only after receiving prior agreement from the customer.

    Restrictions on the provision of personal information to third parties

    The Company will not disclose, transfer or lend personal information received from customers to third parties.

  • When provided for under the Personal Information Protection Law
  • When the agreement of the customer has been obtained
  • When it is deemed necessary to disclose personal information for the purposes of answering an inquiry from the customer
  • When it is necessary to disclose personal information to a subcontracted company or partner company that has been instructed to carry out proper management of personal information and which is monitored to ensure proper management is carried out
  • Respect for customers’ rights

    The Company will respect customers’ rights and when a customer makes a request for the disclosure, revision or deletion or his or her personal information, such a request will be responded to in the proper fashion in accordance with the provisions of the Personal Information Protection Law, etc. and the procedures set out by the Company.
